The total donated or pledged to July 2007 is £634,000, (£1,026,107.35 as at 31 May 2008) which is 28.8% of the final figure we are aiming to raise. At this stage, we were aiming to have raised 25%.
These figures can be broken down, as follows:
- Warwickshire Lodges: £575,000
- Other contributions: £59,000 (from Royal Arch, Rose Croix, Mark, etc.)
Some 20 Lodges have still to use the Gift Aid procedure, from which we gain an extra 28p for every pound donated, whilst another 9 have other arrangements in place, such as Relief Chests.
So far, 83 Lodges (40%) are above their targets for this stage of the festival and another 47 Lodges (24%) are approaching their targets.
